Name: Belinda Peters
Background Information: Throughout my life, i have always wanted to be a teacher. I have had some fantastic teachers throughout my education and i have learnt how important it is to teach to the individual and not to the class. I have grown up in a large family and i understand the importance of team work and respect. I think this are important qualities needed to be a good teacher.
University Career: Over the past four years i have spent most of my time studying and working hard to get the best results possible. I have learnt the importance of planning and being ready at a moments notice.
Professional Career: Since February i have been casual teaching at a few primary schools. Week Five Term Three, i was offered a position in a Year One class at a South West Catholic Primary School. I am currently loving my job and i am seeing definate links between study and work. I am hoping that this unit will assist me in developing IT skills which i can ulitise in my classroom so then i can be the best teacher i can be.
