Lecture:
This week’s lecture looked at the Syllabus and links it can have to ICT. All key learning areas in some way can be incorporated and enhanced through the use of ICT. One example explored in the lecture was linking ICT to English. When a teacher is describing a concept technology can be used to collocate what is being said. This provides students with two ways of learning.
One link explored was Kidspiration. It provides resources for successful learning which is great for teachers to provide ideas for successful and engaging lessons.
Tutorial
This weeks tutorial looked at ebooks! An ebook is a electronic or digital piece of literature. WOW what a fantastic way for students to be engaged whilst learning! I loved this idea. However, it did show me how much work and guidance is needed when developing this ebook. This group did a fantastic job at providing me with the essential requirements needed to create one.
